John Reissenweber: John is active in PGA HOPE, a therapeutic golf program for Veterans that promotes exercise, social engagement and self care in combating the challenges faced by members.
John also serves on the San Francisco County Veterans Affairs Commission and liaises with numerous organizations around the Bay Area.
An avid golfer and Vietnam Purple Heart Veteran, John knows first hand the challenges faced by both the Veterans BAVSPN serves, and the Affiliates that provide services to the community.
Simone Lundquist, Phd: Teacher, Clinical Psychologist, Writer and Musician, Simone is the founder of 'Open Doors to Future Possibilities' a South Bay Non Profit the provides Veterans with a holistic approach to their well being and health that considers the entire person. Transition services for homeless Vets are also provided.
Simone also makes appearances as an innovative clinician, speaking at conferences and training sessions on the topic of mental health and welfare.
LaShelle Burch, LCSW: A Suicide Prevention Community Engagement and Partnerships Coordinator at U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Palo Alto, LaShelle is a specialist in managing anxiety disorders and has put her energies to supporting Veterans in need and crisis.
With a diverse background in social services and crisis intervention LaShelle has well developed understanding of the issues facing Veterans today and is committed to addressing them in an effective way.
Amanda Lopez: A clinical Social worker, Amanda has worked in many areas of Veteran services. Currently serving as the Suicide Prevention - Community Engagement and Partnerships Coordinator for the San Francisco VHA, she is experienced in developing intervention strategy for Veterans in crisis, as well as understanding HUD VASH services, risk assessment, and therapeutic tools available to provide support to the Veteran community.
Ron Perez: Alongside his work with BAVSPN, Ron is active with PGA HOPE, supporting the mission of providing therapeutic golf and outreach for the Veteran community. A Vietnam veteran, Ron also serves as the Commander of the Marines Memorial League 1458.
Ron brings a lifetime of executive skills and natural compassion to his role supporting Veterans in the community.
