Our Commitment

We will reduce veteran suicides in our region by 25% over three years. This isn't just hope—it's our measurable, achievable goal backed by data, community action, and unwavering dedication.

Standing Together

Over 200,000 veterans call the San Francisco Bay Area home. They are our family members, friends, colleagues, and neighbors. They are heroes who risked everything to protect our community.

Now our community is working together to protect them.

Suicide Prevention Training prepares individuals to identify people at risk of suicide or self harm and provide support and access to services that can help at risk persons navigate their challenges.

Trainings occur regularly around the Bay Area, and are led by personnel from our network organizations who are trained professionals. We work with many different Veteran Service Organizations as well as other Community Organizations with a commitment to supporting the Veteran community within their populations. 

Trainings generally take one hour, and at the successful conclusion of a program you will become a BAVSP Guardian and part of the larger community assisting Veterans experiencing personal challenges.
